BURLINGTON, VT – As a season sponsor of the Vermont Lake Monsters baseball team, Brady Donahue / 802INJURED.com enlisted 11-year-old Chase Hunter of Springfield, Vermont, to throw the first pitch at Centennial Field in Burlington on August 4, 2023. It was a night when the Lake Monsters went on to victory against the Worcester Bravehearts. When asked about his experience on the Centennial Field mound in front of tens of thousands of fans, Chase exclaimed: "It was exciting, and I was also really nervous ... but it was so much fun!".
Chase is the son of Denise Hunter, a veteran paralegal at Brady Donahue. Along with baseball, Chase enjoys football, where he'll be the primary quarterback of his 5th/6th-grade team this season, and hockey, where he plays goalie.
